Carol is a 2000 graduate of Hamilton College, where she majored in international politics and Chinese. After a brief career as a business consultant, she decided to follow her passion and enrolled in Pratt Institute's interior design program, from which she received her Masters degree with honors in 2003.

She began her design career in corporate interiors and worked for the top ranked global architecture firm where she designed and managed projects on three continents. After 10 great years on the corporate side, Carol founded Carol Lang Interiors in 2013.

Since 2013, Carol has been fortunate to design amazing spaces with great clients, many in multiple homes and phases. In each, she works to realize her client's investment in their homes and businesses, solve their space problems, and add style and function. She brings years of experience, a careful eye, trade and vendor relationships, candor, and strong project management skills.

Her goal is to to elevate each client's style with fresh, cheerful, personalized designs. Many of her clients are active families so stain-repellent fabrics are her secret weapon! She loves antiques mixed with new pieces, layering patterns, functional fabrics and layouts, and just the right pop of color.

Carol is a member of ASID and a licensed interior designer in the state of NJ. She lives in Monmouth County, NJ with her husband Matt and three school-aged sons. You can find more of her work at or on Instagram @carollanginteriors
