You'll often hear me say, "Family First."

Every interior design decision we make together centers on you and your family. I know how important it is to maximize quality time and interactions with the people you love and creating spaces that helps you do just that is my passion.

Since 2013, I have been fortunate to design amazing spaces with great clients, many in multiple homes and phases. In each, I work to realize my client's investment in their homes, solve their space problems, and add style and function. I bring years of experience, a careful eye, trade and vendor relationships, candor, and strong project management skills.

My goal is to to elevate each client's style with fresh, cheerful, family-friendly and personalized designs.  I love antiques mixed with new pieces, layering patterns, functional fabrics and layouts, and just the right pop of color.

I'm a graduate of Hamilton College, where I majored in international politics and Chinese. After a brief career as a business consultant, I decided to follow my passion and enrolled in Pratt Institute's interior design program, from which I received a Masters degree with honors.

I began my design career in corporate interiors and worked for the top ranked global architecture firm where I designed and managed projects on three continents. After 10 great years on the corporate side, I switched to residential design and founded Carol Lang Interiors in 2013.

I am a member of ASID and a licensed interior designer in the state of NJ. I live in Fair Haven, NJ in Monmouth County with my husband Matt and our three sons. When not designing, you can find me in the garden, with my nose in a book, or outside with my crew.
